How much time is it necessary to get my work done?

Once you decided to come to Cabo for your dental treatment, you'd like to know how many days we need to get it done before your departure day

Porcelain crowns, venners, root canals, bleaching, cleaning:

The most usual kind of  work because a patient decides to come to Cabo are porcelain crowns, fillings, and possibly root canals.

We always advise a one week visit. Typically your flight lands at evening, so next morning you could be sitting in the dentist stool, all the porcelain crowns preparations, impression and root canals can be (have to) ready this day; it is important the laboratory technician starts to work in your crowns as soon as possible, fillings, bleaching, cleaning, periodontal procedures, can be done on the day 3, since we have no urge to send to lab for this procedures, that will be done in the dental chair.

The laboratory will send the crowns the day 5, your bitting has to get perfectly adjusted. If you got a root canal and the post is still not located, Dr arciga will make the adaptation at this moment. By the time you leave the dental office you must feel a comfortable biting. Chances are that the next morning you still feel a high spot, so we are still in time to adjust it. Most times no necessity of this extra visit. By the day 7 you depart back home.

Summarizing; a Sun.-Sun. Dental Vacation

Sunday:- Landing in Cabo, installing in your hotel or resort.

Monday.- Your appointment, possibly at morning, can take 2 to 4 hours depending on the number of root canals and crowns needed.

Tuesday / Wednesday / Thursday / other dental procedures, at your election, you might take time to visit the local attractions, fishing, a guided tour, or visit the near cities of San José del Cabo or Todos Santos. Dr. Arciga is available at any time in case you have some discomfort with the treatments in course

Friday/ (Or Thursday evening if you prefer) Final setting of the crowns, possibly your choice was to get  fillings done at this visit; most of the time comes to biting adjustment, some times ten minutes. If your appointment got to be Thursday evening we still have time for an extra visit if the bitting is not totally comfortable ( the brain takes at least 12 hour to register any discrepancy)

Saturday.-   Any correction can be done at this day.

Sunday.- Departure flight back home, new teeth, a comfortable biting and memorable vacation in Cabo.
